Our Wedding

Tanner grew up in Greer, South Carolina, and Megan grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. After graduating college in May 2020, Megan moved to Greenville — the same city her family had relocated to in 2016. In 2021, fate (and Greenville!) brought Megan and Tanner together. Their first date was at Tsunami Sushi — a spot that quickly became their go-to for regular date nights. From the very beginning, they clicked, bonding over their shared love of fitness and building a healthy, fun lifestyle side by side. Together, they love working out, cooking, playing golf, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and watching every Marvel movie in the universe. Tanner turned Megan into a Clemson football fan, and Megan proudly converted Tanner into a Chicago Bears supporter. But perhaps their greatest shared love is their sweet Golden Retriever, Lenox, who keeps life extra joyful. Now, they’re ready to say “I do” — and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.

This is a great option if you want to explore the city and enjoy everything Charleston has to offer outside of wedding events. Approximately 15 Minutes from the Venue. Option 2: Charleston Beach Town

If you’d prefer a beach stay, Charleston’s coastal towns offer beautiful scenery and a more relaxed, vacation-style experience. Isle of PalmsA family-friendly beach town with wide beaches, resort-style accommodations, and easy access to golf and dining. Many of our family members are staying in Wild Dunes, which is approximately 30–40 minutes from the venue and about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston.

Wild Dunes is a gated resort community. It’s a full-service resort with hotels, vacation rentals, condos, and private with amenities including multiple pools, golf courses, tennis courts, restaurants, a spa, and private beach access for guests.

🗓️ Where and when is the wedding?

Our wedding is on Friday, July 31st at the Admirals House. More detailed and formal scheduled to come, please check back for updates.

⛪Where is the ceremony?  

The ceremony will be held at the Eternal Father of the Sea Chapel, located on the grounds of Admirals House in North Charleston, SC. The reception will follow on the mansion’s beautiful grounds, with views of gardens and the nearby Cooper River.

👗What is the dress code?

Please wear lightweight, breathable fabrics perfect for a warm July evening in Charleston. Floor-length or midi dresses are encouraged, and suits or tuxes are welcome. The reception will be outdoors on the waterfront, so dress comfortably and get ready to enjoy the evening and the views!

✈️Where should guests fly into?

Charleston International Airport (CHS) is the closest airport, about 15–20 minutes from Admirals House, 15 minutes from Downtown Charleston, and 45 minutes from Isle of Palms / Wild Dunes Resort.

🏨Where should guests stay?

We’ve reserved room blocks at nearby hotels in Charleston. Details and booking links are available on the Travel page of our wedding website.

👶Can I bring children?

Due to space constraints, we are only able to welcome children who are immediate family, including siblings and first cousins. We love your little ones and hope you understand—your presence means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate together! 🥂✨

🧸Are babysitters available?

For guests traveling with little ones, we’re happy to provide recommended local babysitting services. Please reach out to us if you’d like more information so you can plan ahead and enjoy the celebration worry-free!

🚕How should I get to the venue?

We’re working on arranging shuttle service for our guests—more details will be shared closer to the wedding. If a shuttle isn’t available, guests are welcome to use rental cars, taxis, or rideshares to reach Admirals House.

🚗Is there parking available?

Yes! There is a parking lot located next to the Eternal Father of the Sea Chapel for guests. We’ll provide more detailed instructions and signage closer to the wedding date to make arriving and parking as easy as possible.
